What would you do if your ex gf sort to confine in you?

My ex recently broke up with her bf.. before she broke up with him. i told her i still had feelings for her and would want to still date her.. well she finaly breaks up with him and since then have been confining in me. Should i still be there for her knowing that she either hurt because she still loves this guy or she hurt just because of the break up. And what are my chances still hanging on whilst she gets over this guy..?
