How to stop getting so mad at him?

My boyfriend is a little frustrating and we have a lot of problems. but I am the type of person who doesnt swear, i dont gossip, and i am ALWAYS in a good mood. I get soooo mad when my boyfriend says even the littlest things. like he'll joke around with me and i will get so mad. andd i try to get over it but everything i say comes out with an attitude and i dont even mean to. i love him annd he loves me and he makes me so happy. but how do i stop getting so mad at him. when i get mad i just stop talking to avoid making things worse. but he gets upset when i dont talk to him. so what are other ways to calm down??? (btw he doesnt joke with me in a playful way. i can take a joke. but he says things like "your a loser" or "your so ugly" or "im sending a hot picture to jenna right now" andd "olivia says she loves me" and he says things that he knows will make me mad. but i dont wanna keep getting mad. i dont get jealous. i just get mad because he TRIES to make me jealous.. )
